Trent Lock Golf & Country Club Embraces the Padel Boom

Published

The sporting landscape at Trent Lock Golf & Country Club is about to become even more  dynamic. In an exciting new development, the club has announced plans to introduce four new  Padel courts, thanks to a collaboration with Love Padel pending a successful planning application  with Erewash Borough Council. This investment driven by Otis Dyke the Clubs new managing  director not only strengthens the club’s reputation as a premier Midlands sporting destination but  also showcases its commitment to innovation and community.

Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports globally, celebrated for its accessibility, fast-paced  action, and social appeal. By welcoming Padel, Trent Lock will offer its golf members and guests  a fresh opportunity to stay active, social, and competitive — whatever their age or skill level.

Construction of the new courts is made possible through the support of Construction Supply  Club, one of the club’s sponsors and provider of Building Supplies. Their backing ensures the  project will be delivered to the highest standard without compromising efficiency or value.

The new Padel courts will be located south of the clubhouse, adjacent to the existing practice  areas, and will be partially covered by a retractable roof to allow for year-round use.

This addition marks a significant step forward for Trent Lock Golf & Country Club, further  cementing its place as a centre for sport, fitness, and community in the Midlands.
